Ticket Dispenser
Non-intelligent card dispenser designed as an add-on to the ND4000 Series Thermal Ticket Printers.
When attaching the ticket dispenser to the ND4020 and ND4030 series ticket printers, it increases the capacity from 600 up to 1500 paper tickets, 350 up to 900 paper contactless smart tickets, or could be used independently to issue up to 290 plastic contactless smart tickets.
The ticket dispenser is the first of a series of high performance add-on solutions that will enhance the solution capabilities of Newbury Data’s range of magnetic and contactless smart ticket printers.
The ticket dispenser can be supplied to issue either paper tickets, or plastic cards such as contactless smart tickets.
The standard dispensers are now available as an add-on solution to the Newbury Data range of ticket printers or can be controlled by 3rd party software for integration into ticket vending machines or kiosks.
Loading of the tickets in the dispenser is simplified with an easy loading removable cassette to ensure correct position and placement for picking tickets. Additional cassettes can also be supplied to provide hot swaps of ticket stock to keep down time a minimum.
Applications:
Kiosk:
Using the ND4000 series printers in ticket vending machines are usually configured with at least two printers that can carry up to 1200 tickets. With the introduction of the ticket dispenser the capacity could be increased up to 3000.
Newbury Data ticket vending solutions can support up to 3 printers with space for the ticket dispenser to carry up to 4500 tickets.
Desktop Point of Sale:
In addition to ticket vending machines, the ticket dispenser can be applied to existing ND4000 series ticket printers at point of sale locations. These locations may require the extra capacity for issuing at all or individual print windows and workstations.
Front Feed Stacker
The front feed stacker will support both ND4020 and ND4030 ticket printers.
The stacker will stack up to 1500 0.25mm tickets.
The stacker uses replaceable ticket cassettes for easy removal of stacked tickets, allowing continued use whilst the printed ticket stock is being processed.
Tickets are stacked in order of print to be processed by next stage of the application requirements.
Potential modifications could be achieved to integrate the cassette into automated postal handling solutions. (subject to requirements)
